Good but not great

Contra kicks all kinds of asses. And although your homage was anything but disrespectful to the material, poor artstyle ruined something that could have been awesome.

Not for me

Just like Chrono Trigger...only without the fun. If I wanted to watch a cinematic for a game, I'd play the game. At least then I'd get into some battles between the cutscenes.

Okay, that was a bit harsh, especially since I liked your humor enough to give you a good score.

Heh, well talkie movies aren't for everyone, I know. But if you want more battles, you can stop the movie partway and go punch your mailman. That should fill your fix.

That was everything a good flash movie should be. Well animated, well written, well acted (Voice acted, that is). Kudos to all of you.

I don't think so

It's kinda funny, but the good is outweighted by the bad. Bad graphics, bad character models and bad sounds ruin what could have been an OK movie.

It wasn't too spectacular, it seemed more like an art student's demo reel than a standalone movie. (Maybe it was because of the techno music loops/little voice clips). Still, it was kinda funny.

Sprite animators obviously have a passion for what they do so I won't fly off the handle about your style. But I'm worried this is going to be another case where a sprite character (Sonic in this case) goes around and just lays everyone else he encounters to waste just because he's your favourite character...assuming he is your favourite, that is.

We already have plenty of those.

It's pretty good. Obviously, it could be better. But you've obviously got something going for you, you just need some more practice. And since I'm such a fan of Queen, you got a better score than what I would have given you otherwise.
