FANTASTIC

More hilarity that we've come to expect from the Evil Josh & Billy series. Kooky enough to stand-out but backed-up with logic and reason...theoretically speaking of course.

For some reason, the audio just didn't sound as crisp as it did in the earlier episodes. Never the less, a good movie is a good movie.

Jeibi responds:

Yeah, sorry about that. I tried a couple experiments with this episode to filter out some humming and background noise, and not all of it worked for the better. Hopefully this shouldn't be an issue next time.

Very good

Your artstyle put you over the top here. Well done.

green-lotus responds:

Cool. Art carried me through what is needed. Thanks!

Well done

You've out done yourself, as far as the first installment in concerned. The last battle against Dust was much more climatic than the one against Smoke.

However, I thought the build-up to it was too long. Does something where the main draw is the violent action really need a story?

Keep up the good work

Mottis responds:

Thanks! You notisted that smoke was the same charracter as the bad guy in the first movie.
Im gonna use these three and maybe some new characters in the next BK movies also. The Story will always be new though.

FINALLY

I'm happy as hell that this dailytoon nonsense is over. You won't be the only person who kills the next guy who submits one, believe me.

Seriously, though. Someone should really make a flash movie for each of the songs on the American Idiot album...not just hackey random slideshows, actually tell the story the album conveys.

Television responds:

The people of newgrounds aren't sophisticated enough to understand the story of American Idiot.

Needs work

Graphics weren't that good, sound was bad (Good music though) and it wasn't all that funny.

BUT, that's not saying I didn't like the movie...I just think it could have benefited from some extra effort.

IcantspellXIII responds:

I will work on the graphics and the voices, if you read this could you tell me what was wrong with each? Thank you.

Not that great

Sorry if this seems biased, but as an admited superhero geek, I found way too many problems with your portrayal of the heroes mentioned in the movie to find it funny. For one thing, Superman isn't a badass and he isn't suave...he's helpful and modest to a fault.

Aside from the rabid fanboy in me, which is affecting my judgement to write a fair review, the sound really sucked in that movie. Either get a better microphone or work on your voice acting.

HappySquid responds:

Really is that so? Uh huh? Wow, that's totally fascinating.

See how much I care? Look.. look how much I care ----> =|

Very nice

Good wholesome antics, that's what I like to see.

I especially like the little dance Clarence did when he thought he was in France.

SuperDuck-Spanjj responds:

thx :) france is the place to dance indeed.

Look at him go

I liked it, especially the design of the pig.

I can't wait for your next one, Dancing pig 2: Electric boogaloo.

sparkers responds:

Thanx for your suggestion, but I have no plans for this in the future. instead, i'm working on an action cartoon with lotsa guns

trash

I've got a lot of issues with W. Bush, everyone does, but that movie was just pointless. Taking something as serious as war and mistrust in government and then turning it into something even worse doesn't help matters or offer any new insight to the dilema.

All that did was show a very narrow-minded (And at this point, overplayed) take on the issues. I hate President Bush as much as the next guy, but I hate juvenile misconceptions of what political satire is even more.

And butchering a classic GNR song wasn't a good idea, either.

Ogmz-Chubaka responds:

lol stfu and relax

Huh?

The animation was fluid (Nice) and the artstyle was a good choice for the material. But I just didn't appreciate it as much as you would have hoped. Don't get me wrong, I like stars, but I don't feel like I'll look at them any differently after watching this.

Dralnur responds:

The question I hoped to raise was: Do you even watch them at all?

Mediocrity at its best!
